Limiting a Result List

If a large number of your organization's documents, clauses, or defined terms are retrieved in a result, you can restrict the size of the result to more easily pinpoint the items that are most pertinent.

Applying Restrictions

To restrict the number of documents, clauses, or defined terms in a result,

  1. Point to Limit Results at the top of the result list and then select a restriction from the menu.
  2. In the left frame, click an arrow to specify a restriction. Then in the right frame, specify the options you want to use to restrict the result. For more information, see Limit Restrictions.
  3. If desired, click another arrow in the left frame to specify another restriction.
  4. Click Apply. The result is displayed with the restrictions you specified.

Modifying Restrictions

To modify your restrictions,

  1. Point to Edit Limits and click the first restriction from the menu that you want to modify.
  2. Change your specifications for this restriction and any other restrictions and click Apply.

Cancelling Restrictions

To cancel your restrictions and display the list of all documents in the original result, do one of the following:
