Vetting Rules Example
In a vetting group, inclusionary rules are processed first, followed by exclusionary rules. If global exclusionary rules are applied, they are run after the group's specific inclusionary and exclusionary rules. For example, consider a vetting group with the following inclusionary and exclusionary rules:

After the vetting group's inclusionary rule is processed, documents 1, 5, 6, 8, and 9 are included because their names contain agreement, brief, or pleading. Documents 2, 3, and 7 are not included because their names don't contain agreement, brief, or pleading. Even though document 4 contains brief in its name, it's not included because its name also contains draft.
After the vetting group's exclusionary rule is processed, document 6 is excluded because its last modified date is on or before 12/31/1999. Even though the last modified date of document 5 is also on or before 12/31/1999, it's retained because its name contains keep.
After the global exclusionary rule is processed, document 8 is excluded because its name contains old and its last modified date is on or before 12/31/2005. Even though the name of document 9 contains old, it's retained because its last modified date is after 12/31/2005.
