Changing Settings for Generic Databases

To access and change settings for generic database integration,

1. Click Setup.
2. Click the Data Source Management tab.

3. Under Settings, click Generic Database.

   Note: Settings are displayed only for data source connections that are set up. If you do not see settings for your type, first add a data source connection. See Adding a Connection for a Generic Database for details.

4. Make the changes you want to the settings on that page.

   Custom Fields

   Allows you to map a custom field in West km to data in ageneric intermediate database. In the table, find an empty row that matches the content type of the custom field: String, Boolean, Date/Time, or Integer. Then type the name of the field in the generic database in the DMS Field text box.

5. Click Save.
