Configuring iManage Work in the Cloud
If you are indexing documents stored in iManage Work in the Cloud, you cannot also maintain physical connections toiManage Work. That is, legacy connections to iManage Work need to be removed in order to set up connections to iManage Work in the Cloud.
A proxy configuration is required before indexing documents in iManage Work in the Cloud.
Proxy Settings
Go to the Setup, System Settings, Server Configuration page and enter the following:
- Web Proxy Host: The IP address or URL for your proxy server.
- Web Proxy Port: The port number used by the proxy server.
Entering your proxy server settings enables West km to communicate through your firewall to access documents from iManage Work in the Cloud . Note iManage Work in the Cloud also requires a DMS User ID. To enable and test security, you need to select this option.

Base Path |
The path for the iManage Cloud API. This setting is entered by default. |
Document Page Size |
Type the number of items retrieved in each call to the API. The default value is 1000. |
Custom Fields |
Allows you to map to a custom field in West km to data in iManage Cloud DM. Type the name of the document profile field in the DMS Field box provided in the row that matches the content type of the custom field (String, Boolean, Date/Time, or Integer). This field must be provided as part of the document profile through the iManage Cloud API. |
Server Version |
This setting is already entered for you and does not need to be changed. |
User ID Required |
Enable this option to require a DMS user ID for all users. This option will allow you to enable full security. |
