Categories List Search |
The name of a NetDocuments saved search that retrieves a list of other saved searches (or categories), which in turn retrieve the documents you want to index in West km. The individual saved searches retrieved by this global saved search can be selected in West km for creating and indexing document collections. The individual saved searches retrieved by this global search must meet these requirements: (1) They must be sorted by last modified date, descending, and (2) The documents retrieved must be publicly available to West km users. |
User ID Required |
Controls whether NetDocuments user accounts will be used to control document security. If selected, NetDocuments security determines document access rights. If not selected, no document security is used. When User ID Required is selected, a DMS UserID column is added to the Professionals table in which you can enter a NetDocuments user GUID for each West km member to set document access rights. This setting is selected by default. Note: NetDocuments user GUIDs entered in the DMS UserID column are not required to be unique. You can enter the same user GUID for multiple West km users. |
Field Mappings |
Indicates how to map NetDocuments fields to associated West km fields. Type the name of the NetDocuments field you want to use for each West km field. If you are using multiple cabinets in NetDocuments to retrieve documents for West km, the field names that you map to West km must match across cabinets. Note: The Client ID and Matter ID fields are used to programmatically map to the Client Name and Matter Name fields respectively. |
Lookup Fields |
If the Author field uses a look-up table in NetDocuments, select the Author option. If Document Type field uses a look-up table in NetDocuments, select the Class option. To select both options, hold down the Control key while you click. |
Custom Fields |
Allows you to map a custom field in West km to data in NetDocuments. In the table, find an empty row that matches the content type of the custom field: String, Boolean, Date/Time, or Integer. Then type the name of the NetDocuments field in the DMS Field box. If your organization has multiple cabinets in NetDocuments, the field names that you map to West km must match across cabinets. |
