Document Security |
|
None Always Display Titles Full |
Controls the access that your active West km users have to your indexed documents. The security levels are based on the security implemented in your organization's document management system.
The performance you experience in West km is inversely proportional to the security level you select. The lowest security level may produce the best performance; the highest security level may negatively affect performance. Note: This setting does not apply to document collections in NetDocuments. |
Apply Security to the West km Icon |
Controls the display of the West km icon in Westlaw and WestlawNext that indicates there are citing documents at your organization. If selected, the West km icon is displayed only after checking that the user has access to at least one document in your organization's document list. If not selected, the West km icon is displayed regardless of the user's access to your organization's document list. The user may be restricted from accessing organization documents, but the icon display informs the user that organization documents containing the citation exist. |
Confidentiality Message |
An optional warning message detailing privacy concerns that is displayed to users. The message is displayed in a pop-up window when a user views the first organization document in a session. To prevent display of the message, leave the text box blank. Space is limited to 1000 characters. |
Remote Access |
|
Username Password |
The user name and password for a Windows domain user account with access to all West km server components and to all NTFS documents that West km will access directly for indexing, including NTFS documents managed by eDOCS DM, ProLaw, and generic database solutions. |
