Changing Server Configuration Settings
To change settings for the server configuration,
- Click Setup.
- Click the System Settings tab.
- In the left frame, click Server Configuration Settings.
- In the right frame, make the changes you want to the settings. Settings are described below.
- Click Save.
General Settings |

Email Replacement Character |
When a user e-mails a document from West km, a legal character that replaces all illegal characters (i.e., \ / : * ? " > < | ) in the file name for the document attachment. (The file name is generated from the DMS title of the document, which may include illegal characters.) The default value is a space. The value cannot contain an illegal character. |
Delivery Server Host Name |
The full server name with the domain of your West km delivery server (e.g., KMSRV.yourcompany.com). If you do not provide the host name, it will be populated with the delivery server name (e.g., KMSRV) during the installation. |
Hide Email Link |
When selected, the Email Document link is removed from the user interface. This setting is not selected by default. |
Proxy Settings |

Web Proxy Host |
IP address or URL for the proxy server.

Web Proxy Port |
The port number used by the proxy server.
|
Bypass Proxy On Local |
If selected, bypasses the proxy server for local addresses. This setting is selected by default. |
Server Settings |

Bulk Load Controller Port |
Open TCP communications port for the indexing service on the indexing server. The default value is 8085. |
Profile Sync Controller Port |
Open TCP communications port for full-text indexing on the indexing server. The default value is 8085. |
