Limit Restrictions
If your organization's metadata supports it, the following Limit restrictions may be available to you in West km for Litigation. Limit restrictions can be used to restrict the number of documents in a result.

To those pertaining to particular client IDs. |

Client Name |
To those pertaining to particular client names. |

Client-Matter ID |
To those pertaining to particular client-matter IDs. |

Client-Matter Name |
To those pertaining to particular client-matter names. |
|
Court |
To those produced for a specific court. Court information is generated by West km during document analysis. |
|
Date |
By the date documents were created or modified. |
|
Depth of |
By the extent to which documents discuss the cited Westlaw document. This category is available for KeyCite results only. For more information, see Depth of Treatment Stars. |
|
DMS Doc Type |
To particular document types (e.g., brief, memo), as recorded in your organization's document management system. |
|
Exemplar |
To those that have been marked as exemplar by a colleague with annotator rights. |
|
Library Group |
To particular groups of documents, such as office locations or practice areas, that your administrator has created. |
|
Doc Type |
To those having a specific document type (such as brief or memo). These document type assignments are made by West km during document analysis. |
|
Jurisdiction |
To those produced for a specific jurisdiction. Jurisdiction assignments are made by West km during document analysis. |
|
Litigation Doc Title |
To those with a particular title. These titles are generated by West km during document analysis. |

Locate |
To those containing specific terms. In the Locate Query text box, type a Terms and Connectors query. |

Matter ID |
To those pertaining to particular matter IDs. |

Matter Name |
To those pertaining to particular matter names. |

Results with Comments |
To those for which comments have been added by a colleague with annotator rights. |
Note: A jurisdiction assignment of “Other” refers to national associations, including the American Bar Association, American Arbitration Association, and National Association of Securities Dealers..
Numbers after each option show the number of documents in the result pertaining to that option.
For example, numbers after each author name represent the number of documents in the result that are authored by that person.
