Viewing Vetting Job Statistics

At the Vetting Job Statistics page, you can

Viewing the Status of a Vetting Job

To view the status of vetting processes,

  1. Select your DMS from the DMS Type drop-down list.
  2. Select the rule group whose status you want to view from the Rule Group drop-down list.
  3. Select the vetting process—Bulk Vetting or Incremental Vetting—whose status you want to view from the Job Type drop-down list.

The status is displayed for the latest bulk or incremental vetting process of the rule group you selected. Each DMS database/library is listed.

Job status indicators for the vetting process are as follows:

Job Status

Description

Scheduled

Vetting rules are scheduled to run

InProgress

Vetting rules are currently running

WaitingForWindow

The vetting process has stopped at the close of the vetting window and is waiting for the window to reopen

Success

The vetting process has completed successfully

Error

An error occurred during the vetting process


Note: When the vetting status is InProgress or WaitingForWindow for a rule group, you cannot edit or delete the group or the vetting rules for the group.

To update the status indicators while the vetting process is running, click Refresh. (The page is not refreshed automatically.)

Running Vetting Rules by DMS Database

To run vetting rules in a single DMS database/library,

  1. Select your DMS from the DMS Type drop-down list.
  2. Select the rule group for which you want vetting rules to run from the Rule Group drop-down list.
  3. Select the vetting process—Bulk Vetting or Incremental Vetting—that you want to run from the Job Type drop-down list.
  4. Click Run next to the DMS database/library in which you want vetting rules to run.

Vetting begins in accordance with the vetting windows (the time and type of vetting process) that are set up for the rule group on the Indexing Server Setup page.
