Viewing the Event Log for Full-Text Indexing

You can easily view event log information for full-text indexing in one location.

To view the event log for full-text indexing,

1. Click Setup.
2. Click the HTML Storage tab.
3. In the left frame, click Event Log.

Information and error events are logged for these activities:

• full-text indexing
• reclaiming
• searching

To change the sort order of the event log records, click a column heading (i.e., Date/Time or Severity) to sort by that category.

To clear the event log page and delete event log records from the West km database, click Purge Event Log.

Note: Full-text indexing events are also logged in the Thomson West event viewer on the HTML repository/search server.
