DMS Settings for eDOCS DM (API Connection)
To set options for Open Text eDOCS DM (Hummingbird), on the System Options page, click DMS Settings and then click eDOCS API. Make the changes you want to the settings on that page and click Save.
Note: You may have a database connection (not an API connection) to eDOCS DM. For more information about setting options for an eDOCS DM database connection, see DMS Settings for DOCS Open or eDOCS DM (eDOCS DB).
Note: DMS settings are displayed only for the document management systems for which a data source connection is set up. If you do not see the options for your DMS on the System Options, DMS Settings page, first add a data source connection. See Adding a Connection for eDOCS DM (API Connection) for details.

Use Individual Logins |
If selected, Load Copy uses individual logins (entered in the Professionals page). If not selected, the administrative level account is used. When this option is selected, a DMS UserID column and a DMS Password column is added to the Professionals table, as well as a Server\DB column for the server and database to which the member has access. You may need to select this setting and add and populate these columns in the Professionals table if you use eDOCS DM as your DMS and you want user-based access records to be logged when members load documents from the DMS using the Load Copy feature. |
