Setting System Options

System options determine the configuration of West km. To access and set system options, complete the following steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer and go to [hostname]/km/pldefault.aspx, where [hostname] is the name by which your West km server is known on your network.
2. Point to the Setup link, and then click System Options. The Systems Options page is displayed.
3. In the System Options list in the left frame, click the type of options you want to set.
4. Make the changes you want to the settings in the right frame and click Save.

You can set the following types of options:

Field Display Settings

• Display Settings for Field Names
• Display Settings for Headers
• Display Settings for Limits
• Display Settings for Result Lists
• Display Settings for Search Forms
• Display Settings for Summaries

DMS Settings

• DMS Settings for eDOCS DM (eDOCS DB)
• DMS Settings for Generic Databases
• DMS Settings for WorkSite (iManage)
• DMS Settings for NetDocuments
• DMS Settings for ProLaw
• DMS Settings for SharePoint

Other Settings

• Indexing Settings
• Security Settings
• Server Configuration Settings
• User Interface Display Settings
